Ithamar Jotkowitz - Founder and Clinical Director
Dr. Ithamar Jotkowitz, PT, DPT, CAMT has been a licensed physical therapist for over a decade. After earning his physical therapy degree in Melbourne, Australia, he pursued his clinical doctorate in New York and received the Certification in Advanced Manipulative Therapy, the only physical therapist in Massachusetts to have obtained this accreditation.
Ithamar has treated a wide variety of orthopedic, sports, and post-surgical conditions. His experience includes managing and supervising a number of large rehabilitation clinics and departments in Australia, New York City and Boston. Additionally, Ithamar has lectured at national conferences; been published in peer reviewed journals; mentored PT students in clinic; and is a part-time faculty member at Northeastern University. Ithamar has worked with professional and amateur athletes, as well as “weekend warriors” and is committed to rehabilitating each of his patients to his/her specific goals, whether that be returning to work, sports or the regular activities of daily living.
He lives in Boston with his wife and 3 young children. In his free time, Ithamar can be found running along the Charles river or another local trail as he prepares for his next Marathon.
Adam Izzicupo - Senior Physical Therapist
Dr Adam Izzicupo, PT, DPT, a Boston area native, attended Northeastern University where he received his BS in Rehabilitation Sciences and Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Upon graduating, Adam immediately began working in an outpatient orthopedic setting, and continues to pursue additional examination and treatment approaches in an effort to give his patients the best possible treatments and outcomes. He also works in acute care physical therapy, giving him a unique perspective in the rehabilitation process, and an understanding of the broad spectrum of physical therapy.
Adam’s interest in orthopedics stems from a long history in athletics, particularly ice hockey, field hockey, and distance running. He was part of the 2008 Northeastern University field hockey National Championship team, and ran his first marathon, the Marine Corps Marathon, in October of 2013.
