Who We Are
Outback Physical Therapy, located in a new, state-of-the-art facility in Somerville, provides rehabilitation services for all sports injuries, and orthopedic and post-surgical conditions. Our therapists, licensed Doctors of Physical Therapy with advanced manual therapy training, understand the importance of personalized care. We take the time to listen to our patients and work with them to develop a customized treatment plan that not only reduces their discomfort, but also treats the root cause of their pain. To prevent long-term dysfunction, we teach our patients strategies to improve their form, posture, and function. The combination of our clinical expertise, tailored care, and genuine concern for patients, makes Outback Physical Therapy a top choice for patients and doctors alike.
It’s not a coincidence that our name evokes the country of Australia, a global hub of cutting edge physical therapy research and the birthplace of leading physical therapy theorists and practitioners. Our treatment philosophy incorporates the Australian method, which focuses on identifying the etiology of a given condition and offering evidence-based treatment options. Outback PT accepts all major health insurances and offers flexible appointment hours to accommodate our patients’ schedules. We strive to be responsive to your needs; weekend appointments can be arranged and same
day appointments may also be available.
Outback PT’s mission is to improve the health, fitness, and quality of life of our patients by providing comprehensive and individualized physical therapy services in a supportive and professional atmosphere.
We promise to work with you—our patient— to reduce your pain and rehabilitate your injury at your pace and in a manner that addresses your individualized needs. We promise to do our best to help you meet your personal goals, whether that means running a 5k, dancing at your child’s wedding, playing tennis, or simply walking pain free. Your goals are our goals; let’s achieve them together.
